Business Northumberland Tourism Week

To celebrate English Tourism Week 2020, Business Northumberland are pleased to announce that next month they will be hosting an online Tourism training week for businesses in North East England.

They will be starting things off on Friday 12th June with a virtual networking session for businesses, where they will be joined by the Tourism Management Institute who will be talking about what destinations and businesses can do to plan for better times beyond Covid-19.

The learning journey continues from Monday 15th June, with online sessions taking place virtually.

Grab a cuppa and join the sessions on Microsoft Teams to explore the following areas to help you refresh your online presence:

Tuesday 16th June: Tourism Week: Google Analytics - Know Your Audience

Wednesday 17th June: Tourism Week: Energise Your Email Marketing

Thursday 18th June: Tourism Week: Your Voice To Visitors - Social Media

Friday 19th June: Digital Marketing Strategy - Preparing For The New Normal

During the course of the week we will be providing additional insight as the Destination Management Organisation into visitor trends, popular visitor content and VisitEngland thematics.

The aim of the workshops is to support tourism businesses as they re-emerge, restart, refresh and recover.
