Cycle Friendly Workshops for Businesses

header newUSE

Visit Northumberland has recently become a part of the Cycle England project which aims to encourage both domestic and international visitors to our county to take part in leisure cycling holidays.

We are really excited to become a part of this as it will help us demonstrate that Northumberland is a fabulous place to come and ride a bike, either as the sole purpose of a holiday, or just part of a visit. More details can be found on the website https://www.cycle-england.co.uk/en/.

To support this, Cycle England will be running a series of Cycle Friendly workshops in March, aimed mainly at accommodation providers, where we hope we will be able to give an insight to:

• Appreciating the character and value of the cycle market

• Identifying the needs and expectations of cyclists

• Identifying and capitalising on opportunities

• Taking practical steps to develop your business

• Marketing your business effectively

The workshops will be held on Thursday 4 March  and Tuesday 9 March, 1.30 - 4.30pm

We are limited to 16 places per date and priority will be given to accommodation providers along Cycle England’s Northumberland routes:

• Coast and Castle route

• The Sandstone Way

• Hadrians Cycleway

• Rievers Cycle Route

If you would like to sign up to our Cycle Friendly workshops in March you can secure your place now by emailing This email address is being protected from spambots.
