Turning the tide for England's Coast

Attracting a new audience

England’s Coast is an exciting new tourism initiative offering a wealth of memorable experiences to engage and inspire international visitors to Britain – encouraged to escape busy tourist routes to explore the heritage and diverse landscapes of the English coast.

Using interactive video technology to convert inspiration into bookings, England’s Coast allows holidaymakers to create personalised itineraries. Marketed to Dutch, German and French nationals, the stunning new footage highlights the very best of our coastal assets stretching across Northumberland, the Yorkshire and East coasts, the South East, Jurassic and South West.

Whether it’s golf, hiking, seafood or arts and culture, England’s Coast showcases the vast range of holiday escapes available on the coast year-round.

The revised England’s Coast website is now live and improvements to its functionality are being added daily, with the full site expected by mid-April 2018.

There are already more than 250 tourism businesses and other features on the site and we now have the facility for businesses and organisations to add their own entry to the site. Each business can review their listing before it is submitted to us for final approval to go live. Please click here to add towns, villages or landscape features within 15 miles of the coast that are not already on the site.

England’s Coast is funded by VisitEngland’s Discover England Fund and will be launched in March 2018 in the Netherlands.
