New Package Travel Regulations update from Tourism Alliance


New Package Travel Regulations came into force on the 1 July. These changes affect any businesses working together to provide a 'package' offer for visitors.

The new regulations cover a wider range of activities and business types than the previous version so please make yourself aware of what is covered, as many small tourism businesses will now be effected. 

These regulations cover businesses working together to provide a ‘package’, for example if you offer accommodation and a ticket to a local attraction, or ‘selling two or more of the four package elements (transport, accommodation, motor hire, other tourism service) at once’, such as if you package together accommodation and a meal.
