Last year a number of Northumberland’s businesses met with Tourism Minister John Penrose to discuss legislative barriers facing tourism businesses. Recommendations from an independent panel for widespread deregulation of the tourism and hospitality industries have now been published.

VisitEngland Domestic Campaign 2012

During 2012 VisitEngland will be running a £4m campaign to encourage UK residents to holiday and take more short breaks within the UK. As part of this they are developing a 2012 website which will be supported by television advertising.
