Visit Northumberland is able to nominate one individual or (for this year) a team of no more than 10 to be Northumberland’s representative in the competition. To aid them in their decision, Visit Northumberland is opening the floor for businesses and individuals to suggest themselves, or nominate someone else, who is deserving of the Tourism Superstar title.
Now in its tenth year, VisitEngland’s Tourism Superstar recognises and celebrates those in the tourism industry who go the extra mile to ensure tourists in England have an amazing and unforgettable visitor experience.
Tourism Superstar nominees are passionate about where they work and the destination they live in and consistently set the bar high for the standard of service in England’s tourism industry. They go above and beyond the call of duty and are knowledgeable and passionate about the place they work and about Northumberland.

Please note that the candidate must be available and willing to travel to London or be on site at their workplace from 19 December – 20th January to be filmed. Members of the public will then be able to watch the videos and cast their votes. The films will also be shown on VisitEngland corporate and social channels. They must also be available to attend the VisitEngland Awards for Excellence 2022 ceremony in June 2022 - exact date and venue TBC.
